The facility has a large drop-in area where CLAN staff and volunteers will offer support and information without need for appointment, along with three separate rooms which will provide space for one-to-one support.
The centre will enable people to access a wide range of support for individuals directly affected by cancer, as well as their carers, family and friends, free of charge.
Initially, the CLAN facility will open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10am to 4pm, with the option of further expanding services in line with future needs.
Coffee Mornings will be held on the first Friday of each month between 10am and 12noon.
Children & Families Service - Providing information and specialist support for children, young people and their families, our professional support workers will provide this service within the Crimond centre every second Wednesday.
CLAN / Move More Gentle Exercise Class - Exercise is a great way to help people affected by cancer become more active. Contact the centre for further information.
Men's Group - Meeting on the third Friday of each month between 2.00pm - 4.00pm with CLAN Crimond. The group is open to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. Welcoming guest speakers and activities in a relaxed, informal group.
