CLAN currently provides services from its CLAN centres in Banchory and Ballater to the people of Deeside and providing support to individuals living in North West Aberdeenshire. These services are free for anyone affected by cancer and comprise of a range of complementary therapies, counselling services, a Drop-In service, information and resource point, and in Ballater there is a CLAN Charity Shop.
The role of the Deeside and Aberdeenshire Area Co-ordinator is to ensure the daily provision of appropriate and responsive wellbeing services to the people of Deeside and Aberdeenshire, including the management and coordination of a small team of volunteers. The post holder will be required to take an innovative approach to service delivery to overcome the challenges of covering a diverse geographical region. The post holder will be responsible for the enhancement and expansion of wellbeing services to effectively meet the needs of individuals impacted by cancer in Deeside and Aberdeenshire.

- Hours: Part time - 18 hours per week
