| One for ladies who lunch |
|
CLAN is hosting a ladies' lunch at the Hilton Treetops, Aberdeen, on Wednesday, 17 March. Ladies attending the event will be asked to dig that little bit deeper as all proceeds from the lunch will help to fund a volunteers' room in the charity’s new cancer support centre. While catching up with friends and business colleagues, ladies will also be able to combine two of life’s pleasures - enjoying lunch as well as having the opportunity to browse Juliet Gamba Jewellery and Peltoniemi made-to-order handbags. North Tonight’s Cheryl Paul will be MC at the event, which runs from 11.30am to 2.30pm, with lunch being served at 12.30pm. Susan Crighton, fundraising manager at CLAN, said: “The ladies' lunch has proved to be a successful event in previous years and everyone who attends always has a great afternoon. “We have earmarked proceeds from the event to go towards the volunteers' room in our new centre. “Without our dedicated team of volunteers we would not be in a position to provide the level of service that we do, so we hope that people will give that little bit extra for what is a very special group of people. “We truly appreciate all the support we receive and the ladies' lunch is a great way to continue raising much needed funds, whilst hosting an afternoon that everyone is sure to enjoy!” Tickets for the event are £20 each, with tables of 10 available.
